The hinged lid opens to reveal a 350ml dustbin and 200ml tank of water. The water tank will empty itself and the bin is auto-refilling.

The only downside I found in this model was the VibraRise mop pads mount isn't movable. It is possible to change the mopping cloth if needed, but it's difficult to remove the mount to wash it manually. I've found any plush carpet that the robot crosses will be in contact with the rough Velcro like fastener on mounts, which could cause scratches.

The S8 Pro Ultra is equipped with a variety of smart features that include support for Google Home and Amazon Alexa. The Roborock app is where you can manage and configure these smart features. It also includes maps and advanced mopping options. The app allows you to plan cleanings and monitor the battery's life. However, you'll have to go through a few hurdles to allow voice control with this model which is unfortunate considering the performance of this model.
