It has a 220 degree Lidar that, combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of my favorite navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It comes with a massive 4600mAh battery that lasts for up to 170-minutes when mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can run longer in turbo). It will even return to the dock to replenish its battery midway through cleaning.

It's extremely efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It can vacuum carpeted rooms fast and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one pass. Its motor of 8,000pa is able to pick up dirt hair, pet hair, and droppings easily. Carpet detection boosts power automatically when it comes in contact with carpets and the dual side brushes help to tease out debris from corners.

The mopping performance, though still impressive, isn't as good robot vacuum. The rotating mop spins fast and uses 2.2lbs to clean dirt and stain. I've noticed that the front arms extend out slightly more than other robots, which can be helpful for getting into tight corners and along baseboards. The same front arms can also be used to scoop up larger objects such as books and toys that have been damaged.

Another nice feature is that the S1 Pro is one of the quietest robot vacuums and mop I've ever used. It doesn't create the same volume of sound when mopping or vacuuming, and is much quieter than the Narwal Freo X Ultra or RoboRock S7. The only issue is that the S1 Pro must use a exclusive cleaning solution for mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It is easy to install and performs well. However when you purchase this robot vacuum for mopping purposes it is important to pay attention to this.

The Roborock Q Revo

The Q Revo is different from other robot vacuums in its class. It has a robust suite of features that make it an ideal option for homeowners looking for a highly effective, versatile, and customizable cleaning machine.

The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robot vacuum that mops in our review, however it also has distinctive features that make it worth considering. The X1 Omni is notable for its enormous dock that serves as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two 4-liter water tanks. It also houses the 2.5-liter dust bin and a 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base comes with several control buttons, which allow you to manually start cleaning tasks and then recall the robot or run the dock's best automatic vacuum and mop emptying procedure. Press two buttons to switch off the child lock. This is a nice feature for parents who are concerned about their children messing around with the vacuum.

The Omni Omni, like other robotic vacuums uses its camera to spot obstacles and furniture in its path. It will stay clear of them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

This can cause the X1 to get stuck if it is entangled in a hazard like a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you manually untangle it. Although this is not a common occurrence, it was a frustrating experience when it did happen, especially since the X1 Omni doesn't come with an "stuck" status alert in its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically change between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You will need to manually swap between the two, which isn't too bad except for the fact that mopping pads haven't been cleaned and dried between uses, which can lead to mildew or mold.

The X1 Omni looks great, thanks to the Jacob Jensen design team (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who designed its sleek modern base and mopping pad. It's a big contrast to the basic black bases of competitors like Roborock or iRobot. And it's an impressive sight in a market dominated by clunky boxy units.
