The majority of robot vacuum-mop combinations can be customised using an application that allows you to save your home's maps, set cleaning schedules and select mopping options. They also let you change suction power and fine tune the amount of water and scrub action your mop makes use of.

A mapping feature helps your robot navigate through rooms and obstacles, while an obstacle avoidance feature helps it avoid hitting wires, furniture or other pet toys. These features are essential in my house, which is full of toys.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

The Roborock S8 Pro Ultra is the flagship mop and vacuum, so it is naturally with features. It's able to both mop and sweep in a single session and can raise its brushes and mop pads to stop soft surfaces from becoming too damp. It also can detect and avoid obstacles, with the ability to spot pets plants, a variety of small objects.

The robot vacuum has a suction power of 6,000 pascals, which is more than any other robot vacuum cleaner vacuum we've tested to date. It also has PreciSense LiDAR navigation to track its position, which helps prevent it from getting stuck on objects.

Its mopping functionality is also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of 6 Newtons to the mop pad for deep cleaning. It also has mop lifter technology that will lift the pad automatically when it is able to switch between tile, laminate, hardwood and carpet or rugs to avoid soaking the soft surfaces.

In addition to this, the S8 Pro Ultra has self-washing and self-drying capabilities. The pad is capable of rinsing and heat-drying within the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. It is only necessary to refill the water tank, or replace the dust bag on occasion.

This is all powered by a lithium-ion battery of 5,200mAh. I tested it with its normal vac and mop settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and return to its base to recharge. This isn't too far from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on par other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's expensive. Its sheer number of features makes it a great choice for anyone looking to replace their old stick vacuums and mops. If you can afford the cost we strongly recommend checking this one out.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end mop and robot vacuum. Its price is justified by its powerful feature set, which includes an impressive vacuuming capacity as well as two gyrating mop mops. It has an app-enabled smart controller and powerful obstacle-avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra is one of the most expensive robotic vacuums and mop sets available at a recommended retail price of 999 euros. In my testing it was able to perform well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of debris from all floors and managing to lift long hair without getting caught in. The mops also performed well in delivering outstanding cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, due to their rotational motion as well as an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

The L10S Ultra's main selling point is its innovative multi-functional docking station. The docking station emptys the trash bin into a bag to collect dirt, then refills the water tank to mop and also dry your mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its intelligent controls let you schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer better performance for removing carpet debris compared to the other hybrid vacuum mop I tested. Additionally the mops aren't adept at removing tough stains like those in the premium Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it still requires regular maintenance. To prevent mildew or unpleasant odors, the base unit dustbag, water, and tanks need to be cleaned, emptied and dried regularly. The mop pads sold separately will also require replacement every few months.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the funds. If you're looking to save money I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. Even if the L10S Ultra was the best robot vacuum robotic mop and vacuum combination you could purchase, its high cost and frequent maintenance will make it seem more an item to have than one that you actually need.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

If you're looking for a robot vacuum and mop that will pick up dirt and dust on your hard floors, while cleaning up wet mess then you should look no further than the Eufy S1 Pro. This powerful robovac/mop combo is a mighty suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a large battery capacity that can be used for both mopping and vacuuming. And it is equipped with a top-notch obstacle-avoidance system. It even has an automatic mop that cleans itself as it goes, which makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean in order to wash off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro uses a unique mopping system that is a big difference from the microfibre pads and spinning discs used in other robots. The roller covers the entire length of the bot, and it is constantly dosed with ozonated, clean water from its dock. The roller scrubs the floor while collecting dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes, or swept into the front collision bumper. The S1 Pro removes the mop water that is dirty into its base station where it is sucked by the tank's heater elements, and then it is emptied into a bigger storage container. The tank that is onboard holds a decent amount of water, and can handle about half a dozen mopping sessions before going dry.

Like many robot vacuums and mop combinations The S1 Pro is ready to roll out from the box. The S1 Pro will need to be filled with clean water. This is easily accomplished in the cleaning dock. If you want to use your own cleaner you can include a cleaning solution to the dock. If you decide to use this feature, however, you will need to buy the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing you to choose your preferred brand of cleaning solutions.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and efficiency of navigation tests, as did the majority of robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It got stuck on carpets with larger piles a couple of times during my tests. However, this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot cleaner with mop that provides many functions at a a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's entry level vacuum and mop, but it still has several impressive features. The multi-function dock emptys the robot's dirtbag and refills its water tanks, washing and sanitizing the mop pads as they go. The mopping system is able to sweep a large area before returning to its dock. The vacuum's suction power is ideal for removing pet hair and other debris that accumulates on carpets.

The application that runs the appliance is quite complex, and offers various options for customizing the cleaning process. You can choose to manually clean the entire area that are mapped by this device, or choose individual rooms, zones that can be expanded, or a routine you've developed. There are many mopping options, including SmartPlan -- an algorithm that utilizes the sensors on the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home as it maps the area.

The Qrevo did well during our tests, just as all Roborock models that we've test. Its navigation system works well in locating rooms quickly and cleaning them in a well-organized way. The default pathing setting does an excellent job of covering a room, with no major gaps or missed areas. The Reactive Tech hazard avoidance system works fairly well, too, though it's not as advanced as the color camera system found on the Qrevo Master or the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify dangers like thick carpets, but it may not always be able to detect smaller items like rug tassels, or electrical wires.

The most obvious flaw with this model is the absence of a mop-after-vacuum option, which could be an issue for those who spend a lot of time vacuuming before cleaning their robot. There's a simple solution: the app offers a feature that allows you to "clean up" at the conclusion of every vacuuming session. This lets you utilize the mopping function of the vacuum to eliminate the last remnants of dust and debris left behind by your vacuuming. This is a nice feature that can help this robot to clean up a bit better than its cheaper competitors.
