You can save your home's maps and set up cleaning schedules and choose mopping modes. You can also alter the suction power, and the amount of water your mop uses.

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgA mapping function can help your robot navigate around rooms. An obstacle avoidance feature will stop it from running into wires, furniture or other toys. These are essential features to have in my house, filled with toys scattered around.

1. Roborock S8 Pro Ultra

Roborock S8 Pro Ultra, the top-of-the-line vacuum and mop, comes packed with features. It can sweep and mop in one session and even lift its brushes and mop pads to prevent soft surfaces from becoming wet. It can also see and avoid obstacles, thanks to the ability to spot pet toys, plants and other small objects.

The maximum suction power is 6,600 pascals. This is higher than any robot vacuum we have tested so far. It's also equipped with PreciSense LiDAR navigation, which tracks its position, preventing it from getting stuck on objects.

Mopping capabilities are also impressive, with the S8 Pro Ultra able to apply a constant pressure of more than 6 Newtons to the mop pad to provide deep cleaning. It also features an automatic mop lifting mechanism, which will lift the pad as it moves from laminate to tile, hardwood to carpets and rugs to prevent getting soaked by these soft surfaces.

The S8 Pro Ultra also has self-washing and self drying features. The pad can be rinsing and drying in the dock. The dust bin will automatically empty and return to the dock. You can set it and forget about it. You only need to refill the water tank or change the dust bag every now and then.

All of this is powered by a lithium-ion 5,200mAh battery. I tested it with its normal mop and vac settings for approximately 160 minutes before the S8 Pro Ultra started to be power-deficient and then return to its base to recharge. This isn't far off from the 180 minutes that Roborock claims and is on the same level with other hybrids I've tested.

This is a highly robust and well-rounded product with the only drawback being the fact that it's expensive. But its abundance of features makes it a tempting choice for anyone looking to ditch their old stick vacuums and mops. We highly recommend this vacuum if you can justify its price.

2. Dreametech L10S Ultra

The Dreametech L10S Ultra is a high-end robot vacuums best vacuum and mop combination. The premium price is justified by the powerful features, including a large vacuuming capacity and two gyrating mop heads. It also has an app-based, smart controller and a mighty obstacle avoidance technology.

The L10S Ultra has a retail price of 999 Euros, which is among the most expensive robotic cleaner and mop vacuum and mop combinations available. In my testing it did very well in all areas of the house, removing 98.4 percent of the debris on all floors and managing to lift long hair with no knots. The mops were also excellent, achieving great cleaning results with less effort than most mid-range models, thanks to their rotational motion and an incredibly strong cleaning solution.

However, the L10S Ultra's main selling point is its advanced multifunctional docking station. The docking station emptys the dustbin into a bag for dirt, then refills the water tank to use for mopping, and even dry your mop pads. It has a real-time hazards detection system, and its smart controls allow you to schedule regular cleaning sessions.

The L10S Ultra does not offer superior carpet debris removal performance in comparison to the other hybrid mop I tested. Additionally the mops aren't efficient in removing tough stains like those in the Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra, which is the most expensive model. Roborock S7 MaxV Ultra.

Despite the L10S Ultra's premium features, it requires regular maintenance. The base station must be cleaned, and the water and dust tanks must be emptied, cleaned and dried regularly to avoid mildew and unpleasant odors. It is also important to keep in mind that the mop pads which are bought separately must be replaced regularly too.

I would recommend the L10S Ultra to anyone with the budget. If you're on a tight budget I would suggest a less basic model that will allow you to save money while still being able to enjoy hands-free cleaning in your home. It's important to note that even the L10S Ultra is the best robot hoover robot vacuum and mop you can find, its high purchase cost and maintenance costs will ultimately make it more of a wish than a necessity.

3. Eufy S1 Pro

Eufy S1 Pro is the robot vacuum and mop that you need to clean up messes and remove dirt from your hard floors. This powerful robovac/mop combo comes with a powerful suction power of 8,000 Pa. It also boasts a huge battery capacity that can be used for vacuuming as well as mowing. It's also fitted with a top-quality obstacle-avoidance technology. It even comes with an automatic mop that cleans itself as it moves this makes the S1 Pro stand out from other models that need to return to their base station mid-clean in order to rinse off the mop pad.

The S1 Pro has a unique mopping system that is distinct from the spinning discs and microfibre pads that are found on other robots. The roller is nearly the entire width of the robot, and it receives a constant supply of fresh water that is filtered and ozonated from the dock. The roller scrubs the floor while soaking up dirt. Dry debris is picked up with the side brushes or swept up into the front bumper. The S1 Pro then dumps the dirty mop water into its base station, which is then sucked up by the tank's heating elements before being is poured into a larger storage canister. The onboard tank can hold a substantial amount of water and can take on up to a dozen mopping session before running out.

The S1 Pro comes ready to use right out of the box as do most robotic vacuums and mops. The S1 Pro does need to be refilled with clean water. This can be done using the cleaning dock. You can also add a cleaning solution to the dock in case you want to have the option of using your own cleaner. If you choose this feature however, you'll have to purchase the Eufy-branded cleaning solution, which is more costly than other robot brands, allowing users to select their own choice of cleaners.

The S1 Pro performed well in the coverage and navigation efficiency tests, as did most robots. It was quick to map a room, and it was able to navigate through furniture. It got stuck on carpets with thick piles several times during my tests. However this could be improved by updating the software. The S1 Pro is an all-in-one robot that provides a lot of functionality at a reasonable cost.

4. Roborock Qrevo

The Qrevo is Roborock's cheapest mop and vacuum, and it has some outstanding features. The dock's multi-function function is emptying the robot's dirtbag, refilling its water tanks, and cleaning and sanitizing the mop pads is handled by the dock. The mopping system can be able to clean a large area prior to returning to its dock. The vacuum's powerful suction is great for picking up pet hair and other debris from carpets.

The app that runs the appliance is quite dense, offering a wide choice of options for customizing the cleaning process. You can clean manually the entire area mapped by this device or choose individual rooms, an expandable zone or a routine you've created. There are many mopping options which include SmartPlan -an algorithm that makes use of the sensors of the mops to determine the most efficient way to clean your home while it maps the space.

Like all Roborock models we've examined, the Qrevo is a great performer in our tests. Its navigation system is robust that can quickly map rooms and cleaning them in an organized way. Its "Normal" pathing settings cover the room thoroughly, without any major gaps or missing areas. Reactive Tech's hazard-avoidance feature works well, however it's not as advanced as the color camera systems on the Qrevo Master and the S8 Pro Ultra. It can identify hazards such as thick carpets, but it may not always detect small things like rug tassels or electrical wires.

This device has a major issue: it doesn't offer a mop after vacuuming. This could be a problem for people who vacuum a lot before using their robot. There's a good workaround: the app includes the option to "clean up" at the end of every vacuuming session. You can make use of the vacuum's mopping functions to remove the last traces and dust that remained after vacuuming. This is a nice feature that lets this vacuum keep its cleanness a bit higher than its cheaper competitors.
