Top Black Friday and Cyber Monday Robot Vacuum Deals

This is your chance to own a robot vacuum. CNET's top models are on sale this Black Friday and Cyber Monday, with savings of up to 57%..

The Roborock Q7 Max offers strong pressure and smart mapping using apps-based no-go zones. its 180-minute runtime is impressive. It also automatically refills and self-empties its water tank.

1. iRobot Roomba j7+

The Roomba j7+, iRobot’s most intelligent vacuum cleaner robot to date, is the Roomba J7+. The most significant innovation is its camera-based obstacle-detection system. It uses AI to identify objects like charging cords and shoes. It's the first bagless robot vacuum to provide you with pictures of the objects that it encounters, meaning you can tell the robot to stay clear of it.

The Combo J7+ is the most efficient robot mop that we have ever tested. It removes dirt and spills effortlessly leaving no trace it was there. It's easy to control through the iRobot Home app which allows you to schedule cleaning and create Keep Out Zones so that it doesn't clean areas you don't want it to. It's compatible with Alexa or Google Assistant so you can start it and stop it with a voice.

The design is also better than the competition. It features an elegant, top piece that appears like an toy, not a loud and obnoxious robot. And the Clean Base automated cleaning Dirt Disposal System self-empties and is ideal to reduce the time spent cleaning.

In our tests the j7+ was quick to remove dust dirt, pet hair and other particles. The counter-rotating rubber brush roll kept the debris in one spot instead of scattering it around the floor. It was able to collect small gravel, sand and even a little grit. Most robots could not do this. It did this without getting tangled in our pet's hair.

While it's not quite as smart as the $1,217 Roomba s9+ Auto-Emptying Vacuum and can't clean stairs, the J7+ is an excellent option for those who need mopping and a vac in their home. It's not too expensive and the iRobot App makes it easy to use.

The iRobot Home App is easy to use but we found it less reliable than other robotic cleaner applications. It can take a long time to download updates, and at times it's difficult to tell whether the update actually functioning until you've seen it in action.

2. Roborock Q5+

If you're looking for a robotic vacuum cleaner that does more than just clean your floors then a hybrid is the best choice. This kind of robot usually includes a built-in water tank, meaning they can both vacuum and mop your house simultaneously. They also come with many additional features such as smart mapping and small object avoidance and the capability to wash and dry mopping pads. They're expensive at full retail but often come down in price on Black Friday or Cyber Monday.

Roborock is one of our most loved robot vacuums and the Q5+ isn't an exception. It's their cheapest auto-empty model, and although it doesn't have some of the features found on higher-end models (like no-go zones and multi-story memory) it's a great choice if you're willing to sacrifice a bit to save some hundred dollars.

The Q5+ is notably gentle around obstacles like wall legs and table legs and walls, which makes it a good option for homes with a lot of furniture. It's also very thorough in cleaning up dust bunnies. This is a area where many robot vacuums that are less expensive aren't able to meet. The Q5+'s navigation system is excellent, with few misses on walls and corners.

irobot-roomba-i4-evo-wi-fi-connected-robot-vacuum-clean-by-room-with-smart-mapping-compatible-with-alexa-ideal-for-pet-hair-carpet-and-hard-floors-1365-small.jpgThe Q5+, like other Roborock products can be controlled with just a few buttons on the device or via the Roborock App. Through the app, you can begin and stop cleanings or schedules, establish virtual barriers and no-go zones and alter your home map, or change the labeling of rooms.

If you opt for the Q5+ model, it ships with a new auto-empty dock specifically designed to make the robot simple to maintain. It requires a screwdriver for install, but once it's installed, the process of emptying the bin is easy. It features a large LCD screen which is helpful in setting up schedules and altering settings. This feature isn't essential for the majority of people, however it can help you easily keep track of the robot's maintenance schedules.

3. Narwal Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vac vacuum and mop is a clever, well-rounded vacuum and mop. It's capable of both vacuuming and mopping. Its design and features are among the best on the market however it's expensive.

The base station looks nice and hides it when not in use, and its size is relatively compact. But the station's biggest selling factor is its ability to automate many tasks and functions that other robots will leave to you. It can store dirty and clean water and also electrolyze and warm the water. Many other robots require this.

Its vacuuming performance is also impressive. It's the only Bagless Robot Vacuum vacuum I've used that has done an excellent job of removing the dust from floors with no. And it's not as loud as the costly Roomba 900 series or iRobot 980.

However, the Freo X Ultra has its faults, especially when it comes to navigation. Its laser sensors and LiDAR sensors aren't as reliable as other robotvacs. This means that it can get stuck or confused in certain areas or rooms in the home. It can't climb stairs as well as some competitors, either and doesn't come with a dock that lets you to create an exclusive cleaning zone for carpets that are soft.

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum and mop is an excellent choice for those who need a vacuum robot that can do it all.

If you're looking to cut costs or aren't averse to the limitations of the robot, there are plenty of other options available. Many of the eufy models cost significantly less. The eufy Qrevo curv, for example is less expensive, but offers more features, including stairs and a fully-function Dock, which provides a better overall vacuuming experience on plain floors carpets, low-pile carpets as well as high-pile carpets.

4. eufy RoboVac G30

Eufy, an Anker company has a proven track record of producing robot vacuums that strike the perfect balance between features, performance and price. The G30 Hybrid offers a powerful cleaning power for hard and carpeted flooring, and a mopping function at an affordable price. It's easy to setup simply by snapping one of the side brushes on, switch it on, and plug it into the charging dock. The app will guide you through the steps needed to connect your G30 to your Wi-Fi. It is recommended to keep the dock close to a power outlet and ample space for it to move, however.

The G30 is a small device that measures 2.85 inches in height, which means it will be tucked away under couches and pieces of low-clearance furniture. The design is less flashy than some of the rival models, and features sleek black finishes and three buttons that are physical such as Auto Cleaning start/pause, Recharge and Spot Cleaning (which cleans the area in a spiral pattern for two minutes). It is also possible to connect the G30 to Amazon Alexa or Google Home to use voice commands to do unscheduled cleaning.

The main feature that makes the G30 above the rest is the method it cleans. It uses a built-in map to create an image of the immovable objects it encounters and then keeps track of what it has already cleaned and what it isn't able to access. When it's time to recharge, it will automatically return to its base and resumes cleaning where it started.

The sleek G30 isn't without its faults, though. The iRobot Roomba is more durable and has lower monthly costs. It charges faster, has similar battery life and performs better on unfinished carpet or floors with low pile. It comes with a larger dust bin that doesn't require more emptying. It also comes with boundary strips that keep it from certain areas. The G30 is less expensive and easier to maintain. Its smaller dust container doesn't require as frequent emptying and is less prone to suffocating heavy materials such as cereal.
