Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more adept, passing our cleaning tests and tackling different types of floors. Choose models that permit you to choose between multiple types, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

Many of the best models work with your smartphone. Look for an app that allows you to save maps, schedules and select cleaning options.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combinations on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, and create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels) and is compatible with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set schedules and customize the S1's behavior.

When I tested the S1 It was quick to identify our downstairs, which has laminate flooring in the kitchen, dining room and bathrooms, along with carpeting with a medium-pile and an area rug. It was capable of driving close to walls and even across raised thresholds without any problems. However it had some issues getting down the stairs in one go. The S1 also did a fantastic job of cleaning hard floors by dragging its mop smoothly on its flat side against the floor and lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or carpet.

Prior to each mopping session the docking station on the S1 automatically empties its dustbin and refills its water tank onboard with clean ozonated filtered water. The dock also adds a cleaning solution to the water for deep cleaning. The S1's water tank holds enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be empty, but this can vary based on how much you use the mop.

The S1 requires regular maintenance, just like other 2-in-1 robots. It is necessary to regularly wash out the dirty tank to prevent it from becoming clogged. It is also necessary to clean your sensors and swivel wheel regularly to prevent them from getting clogged up with dust or dirt. Overall the S1 is simple to maintain, especially when compared to other combinations that require more care.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

Ecovacs all-in-one robot vacuum and mop is an efficient solution to your cleaning needs. The robot vacuum is rated at 8700Pa of suction and comes with many innovative features, including full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that eliminates obstacles and cleans furniture. The mopping capabilities of the robot are remarkable, with mops rotating that actually lift and scrub the floor, as opposed to just drag the pad across it. The mops can also be cleaned and dried at the base station if needed.

The robot is simple to setup and use, and has a clear interface that guides you through the procedure. It also comes with a hand vacuum which can be used to clean hard-to reach areas that the robot can't reach. There are also two water tanks which are automatically filled or empty. It has a variety of settings that can be used to fine-tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete is an excellent autonomous vacuum cleaner. It has a powerful suction that can effortlessly remove dust and debris that other robots have trouble with. Its navigation capabilities are solid as well, though it is sometimes hung in the small rug or area mats I have in my house (which is something you can reduce by defining a virtual boundary within the application). The mopping capabilities are quite good as well, with a pair of spin mop pads that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of simply dragging the pad over it. The mops are also cleaned with heated water and dried in the base station as needed. The mops are also refilled from the top of the base station as required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop; Www.Graphicscience.jp, was released earlier this year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-off maintenance which makes it a strong contender on our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart detection and a larger side brush will ensure a thorough, customized clean is completed.

The X40 Ultra vacuums well, getting rid of both large and fine debris. It works equally well on carpets and hard floors. It cleaned the dirtiest places of our tests efficiently while avoiding pet hairs and other messes. The sweeping performance is augmented by a side brush that moves out to tackle difficult-to-reach corners, as well as an extended mop pad that can be placed alongside baseboards.

Its navigation system is intelligent it can navigate tight spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can move from one room to another without needing to reverse the direction. This is a great feature for large homes with multiple rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors, and leaves a huge margin between obstacles. This can lead to miss-hit spots.

4. Roomba Q5 pro

Robot vacuums are excellent at removing dirt and debris but they're not able to get every bit of dust. Its mops are also impressive with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dirt, dust and pet hair on carpets and hard floors. The Q5 was one of the few robots that we tested did not show problems with high-pile rugs and carpets. However, it was able to not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising as it doesn't include AI-powered obstacle-avoidance.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robot vacuum we've ever tested. It also features a unique mapping system that lets it reach corners and tight places that other vacuums cannot. This device also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. It also has washable filters which further reduces the expenses associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and boost the suction if needed. The app allows you to mark off areas that you want it to stay clear of, which is a nice feature.
