It has a 15 bar pump, rather than the common 19 bar, which isn't as good to make high-quality espressos. The Barista TS Smart has a range of characteristics that distinguish it from other models. Its most distinctive characteristic is that it can be controlled from your smartphone via the Melitta Connect app. This lets you alter settings and even dispense various coffee recipes that are stored in the machine itself.
