Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combos

Robot vacuums and mops are becoming more capable, acing our cleaning tests and tackling various floor types. Select models that allow you to select between a variety of modes, including self-emptying and clean stairs.

1. Eufy Omni S1 Pro

Eufy's gunmetal and gloss black Omni S1 Pro is one of the most impressive robot vacuum and mop combos on the market. It makes use of lidar to navigate, create maps of floors and rooms (even multiple levels), and works with the free Eufy Clean app to let you set up schedules robotic cleaner and mop modify the S1's behaviour.

The S1 was capable of mapping my downstairs quickly, which comprises flooring in the dining area, kitchen, and bathrooms and a carpet in the middle and a large area. It was able to drive close to walls without crashing into them and even managed to drive across thresholds that were raised in the room without problem, although it sometimes had trouble navigating down the stairs in one step. The S1 also did a fantastic job cleaning hard floors with its mop that moved smoothly on its flat side against the floor and then lifting its own weight when it reaches carpet or rug.

The docking station on the S1 automatically emptys its dust bin and refills its onboard water tank with clean, ozonated water before each mopping session. The dock provides a deep-cleaning solution to the water. The S1's water tank can hold enough for about 12 cleaning sessions before needing to be emptied, though this can vary based on how much you use the mop.

Like all 2-in-1 robots, the S1 requires regular maintenance to ensure that it's operating well. You'll need to periodically rinse out the tank that has been contaminated to avoid it becoming blocked. Also, you'll need to clean the swivel wheels and sensors regularly to keep them from getting blocked by dust or dirt. But, overall, the S1 is simple to maintain, particularly compared to other combinations which require more effort to maintain.

2. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

This all-in-1 robot cleaner mop and vacuum combo from Ecovacs is a great choice to meet your cleaning requirements. The Ecovacs robot vacuum has 8,700Pa of suction, and comes with numerous innovative features, such as full home mapping, voice control and smart path-planning that avoids obstructions and cleans furniture. The mopping feature is impressive, with mops that rotate that actually lift and scrub the floor as opposed to just drag the pad across it. Mops can also be dried and cleaned at the base station, if needed.

This robot has an easy-to-use interface that guides you throughout the process. It comes with an electric hand vacuum that can be recharged for those hard-to-reach areas that the robot can't reach and two water tanks that are automatically empty and refilled whenever required. It has a variety of useful settings that allow you to fine tune your cleaning preferences.

The Deebot X2 Combo Complete does well at vacuuming, with strong suction that easily picks up most debris and even the smaller bits of dust that other robots struggle with. Its navigation capabilities are pretty good, although it can be stuck on small area mats and rugs at my home (which you can reduce by defining virtual boundaries in the app). The mopping capabilities are quite excellent, too, with two spinning mops that actually lift and scrub the floors instead of just dragging the pad over it. The mops can be cleaned with heated water, and dried in the base station whenever required. The mops are also filled from the top of the base station when required.

3. Dreame X40 Ultra

Dreame's X30 Ultra robot vacuum and mop were released earlier in the year. But their new flagship model is packed with impressive features. It offers outstanding cleaning results and hands-free maintenance making it a top contender for our top robot vacuum and mop list. Its superior mapping capabilities, RGB AI smart recognition and a long side brush guarantee a thorough, custom-designed clean.

The X40 Ultra does an excellent job of vacuuming, picking up large and fine particles from both hard floors and carpets. It cleaned the dirtiest areas of our tests well while avoiding pet hairs and other mess. The sweeping performance of the machine is boosted by a sidebrush that moves out to get into areas that are difficult to reach and mop pads that run across baseboards.

Its navigation is smart that can navigate narrow spaces and climbing stairs without missing a beat. It can easily move from one room to another without having to reverse direction it is a useful feature for larger homes with several rooms. Its obstacle avoidance is not as advanced than that of some competitors, and leaves a huge margin over obstacles. This can result in missing spots.

The interface of the app is easy to use and streamlined. It should be easy to use by both novice and experienced users. The app allows you to plan and manage cleanings, alter mopping and suction power settings and view 3D and 2D maps, and much more. It can be controlled via the app, Alexa or Google Assistant. You can also remotely control the X40 Ultra camera for real-time monitoring. But, you'll require a reliable Wi-Fi connection in order to operate it through the app and external controls.

4. Roomba Q5 Pro

Robot vacuums are great in removing dirt and debris, but they can't reach all dust. That's why it's important to make use of your regular vacuum once every week, particularly to remove dust from corners, on shelves and in the corners of your couch. Roborock's Q5 Pro, a 2-in-1 robot that vacuums and mops, is designed to do exactly that. It's easy to connect it to your home Wi-Fi network, and is compatible with Alexa and Apple Siri, making it an even more practical addition to your cleaning routine.

The Q5 is an edgier version of the company's expensive S-series models, which include the top-of-the-line Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra. It has the same LIDAR mapping sensors, however it is cheaper because it does not have mopping capabilities and comes with plastic body.

The Q5 is still one of the most powerful vacuums and mopping machines we've ever seen at this price, despite not being able to clean your floors. It has a suction power of 5500Pa, and an automatic empty system so you don't need to empty the bin by hand each time. It also comes with a smart app that lets you set your floor's type and schedule cleanings. It also has an automatic vacuum cleaner and mop refill of the water tank and wash system to allow hands-free operation.

The mops are also quite impressive with 2700Pa of power that can tackle dust, dirt and pet hair on hard floors and carpets. The Q5 was one of the few robots we tested to not have a problem with high-pile area carpets and rugs. However, it did not pick up kitty-litter or cable tangles. This isn't too surprising, since it does NOT have AI-powered obstacle-avoidance features.

5. K10 Plus

K10 Plus is the quietest robovac we have ever tested. It also uses a unique mapping system that allows it to reach corners and tight places that other vacuums can't. It also collects dust in a larger dustbin which means you need to empty it less often. Furthermore, it comes with washable filters that further lower the expenses associated with using the device. The robot can also recognize carpets and increase suction if needed. You can also mark off areas you want to be able to keep from using the app.
