This is the model you need to select if you're looking for an automatic hoover vacuum cleaner that can also mop. It's smaller than other models and makes it easier to maneuver in tight corners or under furniture. It comes with a 220 degree Lidar which, when combined with the 3D Matrix Camera System, offers some of the best navigation and object avoidance features I've seen in a robotic vacuum. It has a hefty 4600mAh battery that can last for up to 170-minutes if mopping and suction are set to standard mode (it can last longer in turbo). It can even return to the dock to replenish its battery part way through a clean.

It's very efficient and does a great job of cleaning my two bedroom apartment. It vacuums carpeted rooms quickly and hardwood floors in the living room, kitchen and hallways with only one pass. The suction motor's 8,000pa is quick at picking up dirt, droppings and pet hair. Carpet detection increases power automatically when it encounters rugs and the two side brushes help pull out dirt from corners.

The mopping performance, while still impressive, is not as impressive. The mop's rotating motor spins at a high speed and is pushed down with 2.2lbs of force, effortlessly cleaning up dirt and stains. I've also noticed that the front arms stick out slightly more than other robots that vacuum and mop, which can be helpful to maneuver around tight corners and along baseboards. The front arms can be used to clean larger pieces of debris, such as broken toys and fallen books.

The S1 Pro is also one of the quietest robot mops and vacuums I've used. It is quieter and doesn't make as much noise when mopping or vacuuming. The only drawback is that the S1 Pro must use a specific cleaning solution to perform mopping, and is separate from the vacuum. It is simple to install and works well. However, if you are buying this robot vacuum solely for mopping purposes it is important to be aware of this.

The Matrix Plus performed well at vacuuming and mopping. Its greatest feature is its precise floorplan map, which it uses when cleaning. This made it a breeze for the Matrix Plus to navigate around furniture carpets, rugs and other obstacles. The Yiko X1 Omni

The X1 Omni is the most expensive robotic vacuum that is able to mop in our review, but it comes with some unique features that are worth considering. The X1 Omni is most notable for its huge dock that doubles as an charging base for the robot, a cleaning sink and two water tanks that are 4 liters in size. It also houses two bins: a 2.5-liter dustbin and an 2.5 liter dust bin.

The base has a few control buttons that let you manually start a cleaning task or recall the robot vacuum with mop, or run the dock’s auto-emptying procedure. Press two of the buttons to turn off a child lock which is a great option for parents concerned about kids tinkering with the vacuum.

Like other robotic vacuums, the X1 Omni utilizes its camera to identify furniture and obstacles in its path and avoid them. True Mapping 2.0 navigation maps your home up to four times faster than laser detection systems.

The X1 can be prone to get stuck if it gets entangled in an obstacle like a power cable tangled over a rug. It will not work until you manually untangle it. This was a rare occurrence, but frustrating nonetheless, because the X1 doesn't have an "stuck status" alert in its application.

Another issue that could be a problem is another issue is the X1 Omni's inability to automatically switch between vacuuming and mopping modes during a cleaning session. You will have to manually switch between the two modes, which isn't too bad but mopping pads don't get washed or dried between uses. This can lead to mildew and mold.

On the positive side, the X1 Omni is a beautiful-looking robot thanks to the design team at Jacob Jensen (of Bang & Olufsen fame) who conceptualized its sleek, modern-looking base and mopping pad. It's a significant contrast to the utilitarian, all-black bases that are used by rivals like Roborock and iRobot and a pleasing appearance in a market that is dominated by bulky boxes and clunky models.
