Best Robot Vacuum Cleaner and Mop

robot-vacuum-mops-logo-text-black-png-original.jpgIf you're looking to clean up mess fast then a robot vacuum and mop is the way to go. The top robot vacuum cleaner vacuums and mops that I have tested have top-notch mapping and navigation, picking up Cheerios as well as tangled wires, and fake dog turds, without leaving them behind.

They're also easy to use using an app that lets you plan cleaning tasks and track what they're doing.

1. Roborock S8 maxV Ultra

The Roborock S8 MaxV is the best robot hoover robot mop and vacuum combo. It comes with the most recent features. This high-end vacuum is fast and agile and picked up pet hair and human dander nearly flawlessly in our Debris Pickup Test. It also comes with a stylish app interface with a mini map of your house and a few on-screen buttons to control the device manually.

Another noteworthy feature is the S8's ability to adjust its cleaning mode based on dirt levels thanks to its Dirt Detection technology. It will stop and clean its mopping pad more frequently when it encounters dust, while prioritizing carpeted areas to be mopped with a damp pad.

The mop roller has several other clever features, such as docks that can be connected to the plumbing system in your home to clean and wash it without having to manually refill the mop. You can also use voice commands to control the built-in voice assistant using the phrase "Hey Rocky" to specify rooms cleaning, modes and granular controls using just your voice.

2. Yeedi Cube

The Yeedi Cube offers a variety of options for those looking for an automated robot vacuum that is hands-free with mopping capabilities. It's part of a plethora of robot vacuums with combo features that also feature mops but comes at a cheaper price than the majority of competitors.

Like all robovacs, the Yeedi Cube requires a little bit of work to get started, including setting up an account with the app of the manufacturer and connecting it to your WiFi network. Once you've done that, the robot will begin to vacuum and mop with ease.

It is important to remember that the mapping process can take a while, and the Yeedi Cube may need a few attempts before it has an accurate picture of your space. The object detection is also an issue that is hit-and-miss. It was able to skirt around furniture and other obstacles, but it was stuck on a rug with tassels that it required a flip to get it out of the way. However, these aren't major issues, and the Yeedi Cube is still a great option for those looking for an all-in-one cleaner.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete

The Ecovacs Deebot X2 Combo Complete provides a three-in-one cleaning solution. Its advanced mopping uses a rotating motion that is similar to hand scrubs. This means that floors are cleaned, not just swept. The detachable stick vacuum is a game changer that enables you to get into places that robot vacuums can't.

This model is basically the same as the popular X2 Omni, but with a slightly higher suction power of 8700Pa and some additional intelligent features. The RGBD sensor upgrade can learn your home and offer the ability to avoid obstacles in a dynamic manner. And the smart app lets you customize a variety of settings, including scheduling, AI cleanings, and setting virtual boundaries.

The X2 Combo is also self-prepping, with both the robot vacuum and mop returning to their charging base after each task to clean their pads, empty their dust bins and then place the debris in bags that self-seal. This helps keep the system tidy and stops allergens from recirculating. And its battery lifespan is long enough to handle large spaces without requiring a recharge mid-clean.

4. Eufy S1 Pro

The Eufy S1 Pro is a premium robot vacuum and mop model that comes with impressive features at affordable prices. It is equipped with a powerful 8,000 Pa suction power as well as a rotating brush for hard floors and carpets, and great obstacles-avoiding. It also features an innovative mopping technique that utilizes a roller continuously misting with water to capture dirt and then deposit it in the water tank.

Its navigation technology was effective, navigating close to walls without falling and avoiding stairs. However, it had trouble with finely engrained debris and wasn't always able to clear raised room thresholds. The operating noise level is also high, so it may be less of a set-and-forget model than other models.

The S1 Pro, like most best robotic mop and vacuum vacuums, is equipped with docking systems that allow it to replenish its clean water tank, empty the dustbin as well as wash and dry the mop, and then empty its mop pad. This makes maintenance easy and allows the S1 Pro spend more time cleaning floors according to an established schedule. Eufy's app allows you to manage all the functions. It gives a clear overview with plenty of configuration options.

5. Freo X Ultra

The Freo X Ultra robot vacuum/mower is among the top mowers and vacuums available on the market. It delivers impressive results in mopping and vacuuming. Its LIDAR mapping sensor can detect furniture legs and other obstacles with decent accuracy, and the application lets users fine-tune the coverage of the map, define no-go zones, and modify cleaning preferences. The main roller brush of the Freo is also designed to stop hair from wrapping around it, which is a major issue with many robotic vacuums.

The Mop Mode also impresses, with Reuleaux triangular mop heads that spin at 180 RPM, while applying up to 12N downward pressure. The mopping system is also equipped with intelligent carpet detection, which lifts these pads upwards when they're in proximity to soft surfaces, preventing them from contaminating them with.

The docking station is designed to function as a hands-free maintenance centre which is capable of automatically drying and washing the mops and refilling them with detergent and water. The base station also has integrated dust processing that compacts dust over 7 weeks of maintenance-free operation, unlike conventional robot vacuums that empty their bins of dust every time they have to be cleaned.

6. S10

This robot is a few hundred dollars less expensive than the S8 and does a great job of keeping my office clean. It is also able to reach the corners of my small apartment. It uses laser mapping system and camera to create a 3D model of your home so that it knows what to avoid. It also has a detector for objects and obstructions that can avoid things like dog bowls and toys (but not Poop) unlike most vacuums.

It has other great notable features, like the self-emptying dustbin and a mop pad that's self-washing and able to adjust the temperature of water and a side-reaching brush that can get to areas other mops miss. You can also customize the settings for each room and create cleaning schedules.

It has the same multi-room smart mapping feature as the S8 and is able to distinguish between laminate and carpets, with high-pile rugs. It can also skip cleaning rooms that aren't filthy if you're trying to save time. It's an excellent option for those who have a variety of flooring in your home and don't want to spend the money to buy a Roborock with advanced mapping features.

7. Q5 Pro

This robot is an excellent choice when you're looking for a robot that can handle regular daily maintenance and touch-ups for messy water stains. It comes with a variety of features, including self-emptying dustbins and an additional water refill dock, and customizable settings in the app. It's extremely quiet and can maneuver between furniture legs and socks effortlessly. However, it isn't able to remove knotted rug tassels and its battery drains faster than other models in our tests.

The Q5 Pro, with a price of less than $250, is a powerhouse that provides powerful suction and convenient automation in a sleek. It didn't perform as well in our vacuuming and mopping tests like the expensive Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra however, it did extremely well overall. It has a variety of cleaning options, ranging from the quiet mode with low power' for light debris to the incredibly powerful "Turbo mode" for carpeted areas. It can even automatically remove and reattach the mop pads, and not leave your carpets soaked.

8. K10 Plus

The K10 Plus is an excellent robot mop and vacuum cleaner that can be used in smaller spaces. It's very quiet and fast, and it does a good job of getting around tight spots. It also does a very nice job of getting pet hair out of carpeting.

It's smaller than many of its competitors, but it doesn't sacrifice features. It has a decent amount of suction power and it is able to take photos of every object it comes across (i.e. chew toys or socks, Robot vacuum cleaners uk etc.)) and mark them as 'not found in the app to ensure that they won't be taken up in subsequent cleanings. The photos are secure, and are not tied to your account.

It does a fantastic job of vaccuming, however it isn't as good at mopping. It uses disposable wipes that are clipped to the bot's bottom, and then drags them across the floor. Compare this to the Roborock S8 MaxV Ultra or Narwhal which have water reservoirs, and automatically wash and attach their mophead.
