Pokemon GO Upgrade Items and Components

An upgrade item is an item that can make certain Pokemon change. The Upgrade can be obtained by spinning a photo disc and is sometimes given as a reward at Pokemon GO events.

Upgrades can be applied to weapons, armors trinkets, weapons, and gathering tools in order to raise their item level. The upgrade cost Flightstones and crests, depending on the kind of item.

Upgrade components

Upgrade components can be added to trinkets, weapons, armors and gathering tools in order to provide attributes bonuses or other effects when the equipment is being used. Upgrade components can only be used on equipment that has an upgrade slot. The majority of upgrade components require that the item being upgraded is at a certain level. Some upgrade items also have special visual effects when they are applied to an item upgrades. Upgrade components can be obtained by crafting, bought by Karma merchants or traded with other players through the Trading Post. They can also be rescued from equipment and used as rewards.

Various upgrade components are available, each of which offers a different bonus. Universal upgrades such as gems and inscriptions are able to be used on any kind of equipment. They provide fewer bonuses than other kinds of upgrade components. Infusions can be used on non-amulet and legendary ascended items, while enrichments are able to be used on ascended back equipment. Injecting an upgrade component will cause the destruction of the previous upgrade. The only exceptions are glyphs, that can only be placed in gathering tools, and enchantments. Both can be removed and reinserted.

Insignias, enchantments, and upgrades with prefixes or suffixes will be displayed in the hover display of the item, while they are added to the equipment's name (e.g. the word Radiant Insignia would change the name to Radiant Tyrian Armor). The number of upgrades that are added to an equipment piece will be displayed in the tooltip for the item upgrader kit.

Glyphs

Glyphs are special characters that can be inserted into an OpenType font to add decorative or functional elements, such as ligatures, ornaments, fractions, swashes registered trademark symbols and ellipses. The Glyphs Panel allows you to insert and examine these special characters, as well as standard symbols such as em and en dashes as being registered trademark symbols.

Each Glyph provides a character with a boost in their primary stats. The glyph may also include up to four secondary stats that will affect its radius on your Paragon Board. Secondary Stats are a percentage boost that is multiplied by additional bonuses, except for Speed Glyphs that directly increase the hero’s speed.

Selecting the Glyphs and clicking "enchant" will activate the Glyphs. This will display a window with the Glyphs that are available to you. You only need to apply the correct Glyph to the item you have selected. Each weapon or jewelry piece has a different collection of Glyphs.

Glyphs can be upgraded by running Nightmare Dungeons or completing Tree of Whisper quests. The more difficult the Dungeon is, the greater Glyph experience you will gain. Once a Glyph attains level 15 and is upgraded, it can be upgraded at the Glyph Upgrade Altar. Upgrades to a Glyph increases its radius on the Paragon Board by one node every 15 levels.

Once a Glyph has reached the desired level, you can activate it. Select it and then click the "enchant button". The Glyph you create will provide its stated benefit, and will also boost other nodes within its area on the Paragon Board. Glyphs should go in areas that can benefit your build the most. This is why you should prioritise Magic Glyphs as soon as possible. The glyphs that are rare could offer double bonuses in the event that certain conditions are met which is why they're worth checking out for too.

Click the cycle widget to alter the perspective of the Glyphs Panel. Each of these views shows the Glyphs in different fonts. You can narrow the list of glyphs further by selecting an option beneath "Entire Font": for example, punctuation only shows punctuation glyphs, while Math Symbols reduces the choices to mathematical symbols.

Rerolling

Rerolling is the process by which you create a brand new account to give yourself more chances to access a character or weapon that you are interested in. It can be done increase your level faster, or to get better loot such as a new weapon for your character. Many players will play until the character they wish to play is available, regardless of ability. This can be because they like the design or their personality.

When you reroll, it is important be sure that the changes you're making are clear. You should test locally whether the patch is approved by the pre-commit test and run a core dev test. It is also recommended to upload the patch to an issue with a plain diff (see What is an interdiff? ).

Rerolls may take a few days or weeks depending on how lucky you are. To speed up the process be sure to avoid enemy camps that are not required during this time. Additionally you should not re-do any quests that could be completed later in the game. This can save time and energy.

Another crucial aspect to remember when rerolling is to make sure that you are aware of the upgrade system. There are a variety of ways to enhance your character's appearance as well as power. This includes upgrading your weapons as well as rerolling your characters and purchasing upgrades. Additionally, it is important to know the limitations of the upgrade system.

Rerolling isn't a required part of the game, but it can be helpful to increase the chances of winning an item or character. You can use it to determine the best character or to experiment with different playstyles and builds.

Sets

A set is an object collection having two common attributes (like the number or eggs in a dozen or the members of a group). Sets are used for operations such as union, intersection and distinction.

Upgrades can make a set better than it was before. For weapons and armor this means it will gain a higher base defense value and less strength requirements and an lower level requirement.

Upgrading is a great way to bring popular single-set items into level with their higher-tiered set counterparts. For instance, upgrading Guillaume's Face Helm to Elite Spired Helm increases the defense from 217 to 321 while reducing the strength requirement and level requirement to a more attainable range.

However, it's important to note that not all set items are good candidates for upgradation. Certain sets, like the FB Sorc Whistan's shield and Naj's puzzlers are Exceptional in their own rights and don't require any upgrades. On the other hand, certain items that are BiS and are used frequently (like Goldwrap) may benefit by being upgraded to boost their performance. It may be worth it to upgrade these items.
