A Large Wood Burner May Release Harmful Particulates Into the Air

Wood burning stoves are fantastic to heat rooms, but new research suggests they release harmful pollutants into the air. These tiny particulates PM2.5 PM2.5 have been linked to heart and lung issues, as well as dementia.

The Chilli Penguin Defrost

Like the name suggests the 4.7kW stove is designed to defrost the windows after a winter walk or to cook the family dinner. This Ecodesign- and DEFRA-exempt Stovax product uses three different features in its clean burn system to attain its high efficiency. A combination of secondary heat retaining glazing as well as combustion air jets and air flow diversion help to keep the internal temperatures high, resulting in a more complete combustion of the gas produced by the fuel.
