World of Warcraft Item Upgrades

Item upgrades are a key part of gearing up your character. Upgrades increase the damage of your item level upgrade and enhancements.

They also provide bonus effects and improvements. The Blacksmith is able to sell them to you.

Players can recycle any item by pressing the upgrade button on it. Each recycled item adds one level to the gauge for upgrading.

Weapons

When a weapon is upgraded, it receives a base damage bonus, as well as an increase in the scaling factor that affects other stats. Some upgrade components have cosmetic effects and others provide additional benefits. These upgrades can be slotted into armor, weapons, trinkets, or gathering tools, and most require the equipment to have an upgrade slot available and meet certain requirements. When a weapon or armor piece has an upgrade component in it, it is able to be upgraded but the prior upgrade will be destroyed (except for legendary equipment and upgrades). Upgrade components can be found using a Black Lion Salvage Kit or an Ascended Salvage Tool, or using a high-tier salvage tool on the item it self.

In addition to the standard upgrades, a weapon can be upgraded by adding a Calibration Attribute that improves certain stats such as Weakspot Damage or Crit Rate. This can be done through the Gear Workbench's interaction menu. This can be repeated four times depending on the weapon's level.

Once the weapon has reached the maximum level of upgrade, it may be rebuilt using a variety of different upgrade types to boost certain stats or add bonuses and effects. These upgrades can be used simultaneously, and their effects will differ based on how rare the weapon is.

There are two Blacksmiths in the game that can perform these upgrades: Blacksmith Hewg in the Church of Elleh hub area as well as Smithing Master Iji in the Road to the Manor Site of Grace. Both require different upgrade materials: Smithing Stones for standard weapons and Somber Smithing Stones for modifying the kind of damage a weapon deals.

In general, it is recommended to upgrade weapon damage first, followed by armor defense, and finally the other secondary stats as required by your build. In particular, it's common to see melee druids upgrade their weapon before they upgrade any other gear, as this helps maximise DPS. This is especially relevant to enchantments that can be very efficient in increasing the weapon's damage and other stats.

Armor

Best item upgrade upgrades allow players to improve the base stats of certain armor pieces weapons, trinkets, trinkets and gathering tools. These upgrades can also give additional effects, for example, more damage or cosmetic enhancement. Item Upgrades can be obtained by crafting, purchasing from NPC vendors, or in loot drops or as rewards for quests.

Armor can be upgraded by visiting the Armorer NPC and spending appropriate currency. Most of the time an item upgrader of armor will be upgraded to the next level after an upgrade is applied. This is possible for any type of armor, though certain types of armor cannot be upgraded in any way (such as the armor that is used as a starter in Great Sky Island).

Most armor upgrades increase the item's strength or defense by a small amount. Some upgrade components, however can result in significant increases in strength or defense. This is particularly true when upgrading epic items.

Some upgrades provide special abilities which can be activated when wearing armor. These abilities can be very beneficial in combat. For example they can boost attack speed or block. Some upgrades also provide useful passive effects, such as cutting down on the amount of damage sustained while wearing armor or adding a chance to dodge attacks.

Depending on the type of armor, upgrading an item may require multiple tries. For example the case of a player wanting to upgrade a Steelclash armor to Dragonscale, the first attempt would result in a new piece of Dragonscale with an initial defense range of the ages of 59-67. The second attempt would result in a new Dragonscale armor that has an initial defense of 67-77, and it goes on.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild lets players upgrade their armor sets to level 4. To upgrade their armor, players must visit the four Great Fairy Fountains found in the game. Each of these locations houses a powerful fairy who can upgrade one piece of armor for the player.

Contrary to popular belief armor in The Division 2 is not in any way useless. Some armors offer a significant increase in the ability to reduce the damage caused by poison, curse, magic, or fire. This makes them useful for certain types of builds. There are other ways to boost armor stats beyond the use of upgradeable armor, such as the engineer trait to boost armor penetration or the challenger trait that reduces the weight of the entire armor.

Potion

By placing a potion on a stand for brewing, you can unlock new effects. The upgrade unlocks a new level of potion effect and can be repeated to get more potency levels.

The potion also has an individual color code, which the player can choose by using /give. This affects area-of-effect clouds and arrows generated by the potions. In Bedrock Edition, the custom color code of the potion is also applied to the potions' particle effects.

The water bottle, mundane, thick and awkward potions now have a brand new brewing texture. Add potion of weakness and healing potion in the Creative inventory. Added lingering potions that can be prepared using dragon breath or splash potions and a strong potion with the status effect Mining Fatigue (duration 4:45). Issues relating to this update can be tracked on the Bug Tracker.

Trinket

A trinket is a small inexpensive piece of jewelry. It could be a ring, necklace, or even a small flag to identify a vessel's lateen yard. It could also be a reference to a gilded trinket on the mast of a ship.

This bizarre trinket seems to be influencing denizens in this maze by making them more prevalent. At its current level it makes all types of mimic Xx more prevalent, and gives each floor a Y% chance of having an ebony-colored mimic. This trinket is priced at a moderate amount of energy to upgrade.

The magic of this enchanted scepter appears to influence the dungeon, making it more likely to produce water and grass. This trinket at the moment will cause X% of regular floors to be filled with water or grass. It does not alter glyphs, enchantments, cursed weapons or armor, or items that are produced to help solve hazards rooms.

While it looks like the normal eye of a newt this mystical item seems to affect your vision in ways beyond just reducing your field view. This trinket, in its current level, boosts the health gained by drinking healing potion and wells of life by X% and grants mind sight on enemies within the Y tile. This is not a stacking feature with the Heightened Senses.

After you have completed the Mastery Cave after completing the Mastery Cave, you can find Trinkets by taking on Monsters and inside chests and crates within Skull Cavern. They are not found in the Mines or Volcano Dungeon.

If you find a trinket that requires upgrading put it in the Anvil to upgrade items it. This will have an effect on the trinket which is random that will either enhance or intensify its effects. You can reuse the Trinket as often as you want, but it will always have the same effect.

You can upgrade your Trinkets at the Alchemy Station by placing them into the Magical Catalyst. It will cost you 6 energy and boost the trinket's power by only a tiny amount.
